A Black Texas judge has been placed under arrest, after police say that the Honorable lady shot at her husband’s side chick, MTO News has learned.
Judge Alexandra Smoots-Thomas, a Harris County (Houston) civil judge, who is currently suspended, is facing charges after being accused of shooting at her husband’s girlfriend during an argument.
Judge Smoots-Thomas served on the bench of the 164th Civil District Court for 10 years before her suspension last year. She’s now been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Houston police say that Judge Smoots-Thomas pulled up on the alleged side chick, in the woman’s driveway, and confronted her – first by honking and causing a disturbance in the neighborhood.
Then, when the alleged side chick came out of the home, the two ladies got into an argument, and that’s when, according to police, Judge Smoots-Thomas fired a gun at her.
Judge Smoots-Thomas’ lawyer, Kent Schaffer, told ABC13 the woman involved in the incident is the girlfriend of Smoot-Thomas’ husband.
