Going by the calendar days, we’re approaching the tail end of summer but having gotten a late start, we’re not entirely ready to leave behind the ease of the season’s dress code. Fuss-free co-ords; tie-dye pieces that scream fun under the sun; and summer hats to tame our tresses which we may or may not have brushed. And how can we forget – the poster child of summer dressing: easy, breezy dresses. Most of which, we leave behind as we move onto the next season.
Admittedly, flouncy floral numbers don’t quite fit into dinner parties as they would at the park or the beach. However, there are dresses that can crossover into fall with ease. Minimal in front but statement-makers at the back, these open-back dresses work as well for a summer stroll as they do for an evening soiree. All it really takes is a change of accessories and shoes. The possibilities here are endless and timeless.
