For those who are Team Marco after watching The Kissing Booth 2, you’re going to love the Instagram tribute Taylor Zakhar Perez posted on July 30 in honor of Joey King’s 21st birthday. “Honestly I could write about this woman all day,” Taylor captioned the post along with a ridiculously sweet snap of the pair. He then listed off a few reasons she is so important to him, including the fact that she was the reason he joined The Kissing Booth 2.
He continued, “She is the reason I joined the KB2 family, she welcomed me with open arms and love, she supported me, she pushed me, she made me laugh (like pee my pants laughter and had to check my underwear), she inspired me to be a bettter actor, she shared her family with me, THE LIST GOES ON. Grateful for you forever. #tbt.” Shortly after, Joey replied with a heartfelt comment of her own, writing, “Can’t imagine my life without you. I heart you T.”
Taylor and Joey’s chemistry in The Kissing Booth 2 and their flirtatious exchanges on social media have fans wishing they’d date in real life. However, it seems they’re only friends and Joey is currently in a relationship with producer Steven Piet. All hope is not entirely lost, though, as Taylor is set to return as Marco in The Kissing Booth 3, so maybe they’ll get together on screen.
