Throughout the global pandemic some of us have been baking bread, and others have been binge-watching new shows. But it looks like Riverdale star Charles Melton has spent his time in the absolute best way: adopting his perfect new dog, Neya. And we may or may not be using this insanely cute photo above as our new phone background.
Teaming up with Purina ONE, Melton is now on a mission to help clear the shelters, encouraging fans to adopt their own pet from a local shelter. So for POPSUGAR’s Q&A series Last Call, we chatted with Melton all about Neya, his time spent at home, and more!

PS: What was the last thing you did with your new dog, Neya?
We’ve been spending a lot of time together exploring the past few months, but recently she completed training with Jill the Dog Whisperer and it’s been incredible watching her learn and grow. We’ve learned a lot over the past few months.
PS: What’s the last thing you ordered online?
A flirt pole for Neya.
PS: What’s the last thing you do before going to bed?
Write in my journal.
PS: What was the last gift you received?
Vintage typewriter.

Adopting Neya was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and it changed my life. Please consider adopting a shelter pet.
