Chicago rapper Change The Rapper claim that Black men are the main “oppressors” of the Black community. The rapper posted his controversial political position on Twitter yesterday.
According to a quote that Chance re-tweeted, “Back men may be victimized by racism, but sexism allows them to act as exploiters and oppressors of women.”
Chance’s position, held by many feminists, has been criticized as “disingenuous” by many in the Black community. Many believe that this position distracts people from discussing the very real issues of racial injustice.
And most of the people circulating Chance’s arguments since the Black Lives Matter Movement took off – have been White supremacists.

Chance The Rapper, real name Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, activist, actor, and philanthropist.
Chance began to gain mainstream recognition in 2013 after releasing his second mixtape, Acid Rap, which gained acclaim. He then released his third mixtape, Coloring Book, in 2016, which garnered further critical acclaim and attention. It earned him three Grammy Awards, including the award for Best Rap Album; upon winning, it became the first streaming-only album to win a Grammy Award, and peaked at number eight on the Billboard 200.
