A Black man just married into one of the richest families in all of India, MTO News has learned.
Anisha Burman, daughter of Anand Burman, one of the richest men in India with a net worth of 5.8 billion dollars, married Leslie Mwambazi. Anisha’s great grandfather founded Dabur, India’s largest consumer goods company in 1884. It manufactures Ayurvedic medicine and natural consumer products and is one of the largest fast-moving consumer goods companies in India.
Both Leslie and Anisha are artists, and have been living in London for more than 20 years now. They partnered together, and created their own art company – LesNiche.
And it seems like her family has fully accepted him, which is rare.
Typically, wealthy Indians marry other wealthy Indians – who are part of their caste and share the same religion. It’s very interesting to see a Black man married into an Indian billionaire family.
No word on whether or not Leslie and Anisha entered into a prenuptial agreement.
