The Real Housewives of Potomac will be returning to our tv screen this August — after being delayed following the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Several weeks back, Bravo exec Andy Cohen tweeted about the delays:
“It’s a smart decision. The virus has shifted production schedules for all our shows,” Cohen said. “There are currently two great Housewives series running [The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills]. Would rather have fresh content later than none.”
Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard Bassett will all be back and they’ll be joined by the newest Potomac Housewife, Wendy Osefo, a professor, political analyst, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three.
“Wendy is Black Girl Magic personified,” Candiace says in the above trailer for Season 5. “She could read a book, honey, and she could read you down.”
