You know I love my female founded companies. Dudley Stephens is founded by two sisters, but that’s not why I’m featuring them today. For the new year, I’m launching a feature called “Good-doers” where I’ll be highlighting fashion brands (and maybe some beauty ones too!) that are sustainable, give back, or amplify important causes.
Let’s kick things off with Dudley Stephens, a workout meets streetwear brand with a new capsule collection that’s made locally here in Brooklyn from recycled fleece! The company’s goal with this new collection is to show us just how fashionable recycled fleece can be, and I’d say they nailed it. I’m wearing the Millbank Maxi Coat, freshly launched today! I can’t think of many pieces that are chicer or more fashionable than a maxi length coat. Throw it over classic pieces like high-waist denim and a simple sweater for an instantly pulled together look. I’d also pair this coat with a midi or maxi length dress and chunky boot. Bonus points if your outfit and coat hemlines meet like mine do here. I always think that makes an outfit really come together and look even more intentional.
