Actress Skai Jackson has been banned from using the social media app Twitter – the same app that circulates racist and violent posts by Donald Trump.
As MTO News has been reporting over the past few days, actress Skai Jackson has been on a crusade to expose people whom she deems to be “racists’ on Twitter. Her crusade started when Skai asked her 500k followers to send in video and text messages of people showing their true colors.
Within hours, dozens of people were being “exposed” for using racist language or otherwise exhibiting racist behaviors on Skai’s Twitter timeline.
Skai exposed more than 10 girls – all in high school.
The Disney star’s timeline was flooded with Snapchat messages, texts, and Instagram posts regarding offenders and reaching out to their school principals, prospective colleges, and employers.
But her crusade didn’t last long. Last night, Skai announced she had been banned from the app for the next 12 hours.
Skai is an 18-year-old actress, YouTuber, and author, who was included in Time’s list of Most Influential Teens in 2016. She first began acting at the age of 5, making her debut in the film Liberty Kid (2007). She later came to international prominence for her portrayal of Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel series Jessie (2011–2015), and in the sequel, Bunk’d (2015–2018).
She has also voiced Glory Grant across the Marvel Rising series and voiced Summer in the animated series DreamWorks Dragons: Rescue Riders (2019–2020). In 2019, Jackson released her debut novel, Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback.
