Charlamagne Tha God On Joe Biden Interview: I Respect His Honesty

Charlamagne Tha God’s interview with former vice president Joe Biden went viral last week when the Democratic presidential candidate told him that he wasn’t Black if he couldn’t decide to vote for him or Trump.

Charlamagne, who has been openly critical of Biden, says he respects him for his honesty.

“I knew what the reaction to the line was gonna be,” he starts. “You know when you got something. You just don’t know how big it’s gonna be. You know when you sitting on that gold.”

Charlamagne continued, “I respect honesty, he said what was honestly on his mind. I don’t know what to tell y’all. I saw his team was spinning at as a joke,”he said.

But Charlamagne wants people to be realistic about their expectations.

“If you think an old, powerful, white politician is ever gonna take full responsibility for his f*ck ups then you don’t understand how privilege or politics work,” he told The Brilliant Idiots co-host Andrew Schulz.
