A teacher is in hot water after she allegedly fed her Junior High School students cupcakes, tainted with her husband’s semen.
According to The Advocate, Dennis Perkins, 44, and Cynthia Perkins, 35, were arrested in October on charges including allegations of rape, sexual battery, video voyeurism, mingling harmful substances, obscenity, and producing child pornography.
Cynthia worked as a teacher at Westside Junior High School. She resigned from her junior high school teaching job the day she was arrested, was hit with 72 felony counts in the indictment.
A father of a student who ate the contaminated cupcakes has fallen into a debilitating depression over the incident and has not been able to find gainful employment, according to one of four civil lawsuits filed against the couple.
Reports say that her husband introduced semen into batches of cupcakes that Cynthia intentionally served to her students at Westside Junior High School in November 2018 and May 2019.
Her husband is also facing additional counts of rape and sexual abuse of an animal that span back farther but do not involve Cynthia Perkins.
