Tekashi 6ix9ine spent much of last week accusing Billboard and Ariana Grande’s team of cheating to help her reach the number one spot — and the singer responded to the claims via Instagram.
“To anybody that is displeased with their placement on the chart this week or who is spending their time racking their brain thinking of as many ways as they can to discredit hardworking women (and only the women for some reason…..), i ask u to take a moment to humble yourself,” she said in the lengthy post. “Be grateful you’re even here. that people want to listen to u at all. it’s a blessed position to be in.”
Tekashi came in third after Ariana’s new single and Doja Cat’s “Say So (Remix) featuring Nicki Minaj came in second.
Tekashi has been itching for the top spot since before he went away to prison. There’s always a chance to get top the Billboard charts with his next single, he says he’s releasing this Friday.
