Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid are pretty private when it comes to talking about their romance, but it seems like they may be getting more comfortable. During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live!, the 24-year-old singer revealed exactly how her romance with the 20-year-old model came to be.
When Andy Cohen asked Dua if she’s ever slid into any celebrity’s DMs, she revealed that after meeting Anwar at a BBQ, she casually slipped into his. “I have a confession to make, and mine was my boyfriend — so my current boyfriend. I definitely did that,” she said. “We actually met at a BBQ, but it then carried on onto DMs.”
Dua and Anwar first sparked dating rumors back in July 2019 when they were photographed getting cozy at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival. However, it wasn’t until that September that they finally confirmed their relationship when they made their first public appearance as a couple at New York Fashion Week.
