Dipset rapper Cam’ ron has revealed that he is currently in talks to bring a Paid In Full 2 to fruition — almost two decades after the release of the original movie.
Paid in Full is a 2002 American crime drama film directed by Charles Stone III. The movie takes place in Harlem in the 1980s and is based on three friends Azie “AZ” Faison, Rich Porter, and Alpo Martinez and their professional criminal exploits.
The characters Ace (Wood Harris), Mitch (Mekhi Phifer), and Rico (Cam’ ron), respectively, are based on the legendary drug kingpin trio.
“These are conversations that we talked about in the last few months,” he told J1. “Actually, a couple hours ago, something we talked about [was] pertaining [to] Paid In Full 2. I don’t wanna say 100 percent yes, but we’re definitely in the talks about doing something similar to Paid In Full 1 — It’s definitely a conversation going on right now about that, 100 percent.”
