Report: Cara Delevingne & Ashley Benson Split

After nearly two years of dating, supermodel Cara Delevingne, 27, and actress Ashley Benson, 30, are reportedly over!

According to People magazine, the two called it quits in early April. A source shared, “Cara and Ashley always had their ups and down before, but it’s over now. Their relationship just ran its course.”

It has been reported that Cara is spending time with her famous friends, including Margaret Qualley and Kaia Gerber.

Cara and Ashley were last spotted together in March in Los Angeles. They were stepping out for a grocery run as the COVID-19 pandemic was hitting the U.S.

In February, Cara expressed her love for Ashley on Valentine’s Day. Along with posting a kissing pic, she wrote on Instagram, “A kiss with a cause. This Valentine’s Day when you share a photo of you and a loved one— a significant other, a friend, a pet—you can also raise awareness and help create a future with more survivors thanks to @su2c #KissCancerGoodbye campaign ❤️.”

Ashley also shared the same photo.

The pair first sparked romance rumors in 2018 when they were photographed kissing at Heathrow Airport in London.

Last year, Cara confirmed the relationship by sharing an Instagram video of herself kissing Benson in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. At the TrevorLIVE Gala, she told E! News regarding why the public kiss, “I don’t know. Because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and… I don’t know. It’s been just about our one-year anniversary, so why not?”

In an interview with Elle, Cara gushed, “It just feels incredible when you’re not alone, when you’re facing the world with someone else.”

She added, “I don’t want to be so secretive that people think I’m ashamed of anything. But I’ve never been in a relationship where things are so public, or where I posted pictures of someone else. This seemed different. We had gotten to the point where we had kept it a secret, or at least not wanted attention, and now I feel like I’m not going to not be proud.”

Cara and Ashley have also been subject to wedding and engagement rumors. In August, there were reports that they had tied the knot in Las Vegas, which turned out to be false. There was no marriage license issued for the pair in Las Vegas.
