Almost 300 teenagers stood on line yesterday in Chicago, trying to get their hands on a newly released pair of Air Jordan sneakers, MTO News has learned.
HERE IS A LINK TO THE VIDEO, SHOWING TEENS LINED UP
A popular social media based sneaker reseller from Chicago told his followers that he would be selling the Jordans out of a Chicago storefront, MTO News has learned and within minutes, hundreds of teenagers showed up.
And as you can see in the video, the teens were not wearing masks, and not practicing social distancing.
A man who learned about the incident drove up to the store, and recorded the commotion outside.
Chicago, and the entire state of Illinois, is currently under a quarantine lockdown. Non-essential businesses are supposed to be closed. But that hasn’t stopped people from skirting the law, and opening up “secret” stores all over the city.
