J. Prince took time out to congratulate Megan Thee Stallion on the success of her “Savage” Remix, featuring Beyonce — even as the label drama continues.
“Big respect to @1501_certified_ent @300ent JAY-Z @beyonce and Megan @thestallion. In spite of lawsuits that are taking place, we all have come together on one accord for the purpose of helping those in need during this pandemic, by contributing proceeds from the ‘Savage’ remix featuring Beyoncé to the Bread of Life charity. This how I love to see the powers of H-Town, united, at its best! Texas stand up!” he wrote.
All of the proceeds from the song go to charity — and any new music that Meg releases has to first be cleared by 1501 Entertainment.
Meg is fighting to be freed from the label after they refused to allow her to renegotiate her contract and then tried to block her from releasing new music.
