Eminem reportedly confronted an intruder who broke into his Detroit home — and even held him until the cops arrived.
According to a report from TMZ, the rapper came face-to-face with a home intruder who entered him home from the back entrance, slipping past his own security — who were on his front porch.
The suspect, 26-year-old Matthew David Hughes, used a paving stone to smash a kitchen window and climbed inside the house. An alarm then went off inside his home, waking Em. He found the man and detained him before his security turned up.
Police were called and rushed to the home, and the invader was taken into custody and booked on felony charges of first-degree home invasion and malicious destruction of a building.
According to the breaking news outlet, the man did not steal any of Em’s personal belongings — he just wanted to meet his rap idol.
