Reality Star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi Welcomes Baby Boy Elijah

“Shahs of Sunset” star Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, 38, is a first-time mom!

On Monday night, Gharachedaghi gave birth to a baby boy, who she named Elijah Javad. He weighed 6 lbs., 8 oz. and measured 19.5 inches.

Golnesa’s rep said in a statement to People magazine, “Everyone is doing great and Golnesa is beyond excited to be a mom and start this new adventure.”

Just a few weeks ago, Golnesa pointed out that she was giving birth soon. Along with posting a pic of herself with her dog, she wrote on Instagram, “I’m 8.5 months pregnant & she’s 8.5 months old! My little partner in crime, my baby girl will always keep me and baby Elijah safe❤.”

Just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down America, Golnesa celebrated Elijah’s anticipated arrival at a baby shower planned by Anita Gohari. Guests were treated to a Moroccan-themed party, authentic tea corner, and hookah lounge.

Golnesa recently revealed that she was naming her son after her longtime celebrity crush, Elijah Wood. She told People, “Honestly, since I was little, I have been in love with Elijah Wood. I remember first seeing him in [1992’s] ‘Radio Flyer.’ He was just the guy for me. My best friend and I even had a bet where I said if I had a boy, I’d name him Elijah. So when I found out I was pregnant with a boy, I was like, ‘Well, that’s settled!’”

Gharachedaghi, who used a sperm donor and in vitro fertilization, added, “It’s a Hebrew name, so it kind of honors my ‘Donor Daddy,’ as I call him. It was just perfect; it all worked out perfectly.”

Golnesa announced she was expecting in October. The news came less than a year after finalizing her divorce from Shalom Yeroushalmi. At the time, she gushed, “This is what I wanted my entire life. When little girls were talking about their perfect husband and their perfect weddings, I was talking about the 10 kids I was going to have.”
