Chris & Cristina Cuomo’s Son Mario Diagnosed with COVID-19

The Cuomo family is still battling the coronavirus. Days after CNN anchor Chris Cuomo emerged from quarantine, his son Mario, 14, now has the illness.

His wife Cristina, who was recently diagnosed herself, posted a health update on Instagram.

She wrote, “After 10 days of ups and downs, feeling good one day and terrible the next, I am now working hard to get my son, Mario, through the virus. My heart hurts more than my head over his infection. This virus does not discriminate. While kids are more resilient, they can suffer same severity of symptoms.”

Cristina went on, “I’m applying a modified version of my remedies for his protocol with a focus on lots of vitamins. Since his sense of smell and taste have disappeared, I am feeding him healthy foods that I normally can’t get him to touch. I kept a diary of the past week including my remedies and things that I did to stay sane through it all.”

Just a few days ago, Cristina told “Extra’s” Billy Bush that they believed Mario might have COVID-19. She explained, “We haven’t had him tested yet, but he has the same sinus cold that I do and yesterday he lost his sense of taste and smell… Now he’s in his own quarantine in his room.”

She added, “The anxiety over passing it along to family members is really intense, and it also shows you the longevity of this virus. Here we are, 30 days into it, and no sign of re-entry for us yet and it’s debilitating. It can be emotionally debilitating.”

Cristina, the editor in chief of The Purist, has been treating her family for COVID-19 through diet, supplements and medication. Learn more here!
