Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine, 25, is taking the next big step in his relationship with girlfriend Hunter Mar, 23.
On Monday, LaVine announced their engagement. He post a pic of himself down on one knee during the proposal, writing on Instagram, “My everything❤️ I love you with all of me. It’s been a long time coming, been together since I was 17 !!! My first love and my FOREVER love. U with me forever 🥰🥰.”
Mar posted the same photo, adding, “My everything for LIFE! 💍 I love you endlessly. I have known you were the one from the very start. I’ll choose you over and over, without a doubt. God made you for me! I am so blessed by you and I can’t wait to be your forever.”
Along with the photos, Hunter also shared a close-up video of her huge diamond ring! LaVine signed an $80-million four-year contract with the Bulls in 2018, so he definitely has the money for such an expensive ring.
Zach’s friend and former teammate Sekou Wiggs Jr. also shared a video from the proposal. He wrote, “YEEEEEAAAAHHHH! My Dawg & Sis Getting Married! Proud Of Y’all!❤️ @zachlavine8 @hunter_mar.”
For years, Zach and Hunter have been open about their relationship on social media, posting many pics of each other.
In February, Zach celebrated Hunter’s birthday, writing, “Happy Birthday my Queen 👑 LOVE you to death babe❤️❤️❤️#23.”
A few weeks ago, Hunter did the same for Zach’s birthday, writing on Instagram, “25!!!! 🎉Getting to watch you grow since high school into the man you are today has been nothing short of amazing. I admire you more with every year. You truly are such a blessing to me! (And grizzly) Happiest of birthdays boo!!! I love you!”
