President Trump tried to distract the American public from his epic mishandling of the coronavirus by tweeting his refusal to pay for the security of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they most to Los Angeles.
“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!” he tweeted.
But the couple was not expecting the U.S. to pay.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the US government for security resources. Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”
We think that Trump needs to focus all of his time and energy on trying to end the spread of the coronavirus, than picking imaginary fights on Twitter.
