“The Bachelor” alum Ben Higgins is engaged again!
On Friday, Higgins, 31, popped the question to girlfriend Jessica Clarke after a year of dating.
Clarke shared photos from the proposal, writing, “I don’t remember everything you said, but I know that I said yes. I woke up in a dream today and I get to live in this dream every day from now on (eeeep).”
She also shared a close-up of her sparkling ring on Instagram.
Just a month before Higgins got down on one knee, he gushed about Clarke on Instagram, “Always chasing the feelings of joy and happiness. They are easier to catch when@jessclarke_.”
A few months ago, Ben hinted at an engagement happening soon, telling “Extra’s” Special Correspondent Rachel Lindsay, “I don’t want to say when it could happen, but if you come to these live shows, it could possibly happen live onstage.”
A year ago, Ben made it Instagram official with Jessica. He wrote on Instagram, “I’ve been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her DM’s a few months ago. I took a risk and I am glad I did. She is someone special, and I look forward to where life is going to take us.”
Higgins, who appeared on Season 20 of “The Bachelor,” added that the photo of the pair was taken in Honduras with Generous Coffee Co., which uses profits to support non-profits.
Jessica also unveiled her “secret boyfriend” on Instagram, writing, “My secret boyfriend, Ben! He has one of the biggest hearts and kindest spirits, I got to share Honduras with him this past week and I’m excited for many more adventures!”
Eonline.com reported Clarke is a recent graduate from Ole Miss and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications.
Higgins was previously engaged to Lauren Bushnell after meeting on “The Bachelor,” but they called it off in 2017.
