Chicago rapper Chief Keef has reportedly been released from police custody after he was seen being handcuffed in Mexico.
XXL announced the news confirming that he has been released, but the details surrounding his arrest and subsequent detainment in federal custody have not been released to the public.
The rapper was last seen being handcuffed and detained in Mexico, has reportedly since been released from federal custody, according to XXL.
Fans raised the alarm after Keef’s artist, Tadoe, posted an Instagram story video of Keef being handcuffed and led away by Customs Border Patrol officers.
These days, Keef appears to be keeping a fairly low profile. Quietly releasing music and staying out of blogs since his very high profile beef with incarcerated rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. During the beef, Tekashi traveled to Chicago and posted clips of himself moving through the city without being touched.
Shortly after, Keef and crew visited New York but left after a Tekashi 6ix9ine associate fired shots at him.
