Chet Hanks, the son of Hollywood star Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, has shared another update on hits parents’ condition on Monday.
According to Chet, both his parents have been checked out of an Australian hospital after being quarantined for five days.
“They’re out of the hospital,” Chet said. “They’re still self-quarantined, obviously, but they’re feeling a lot better. So that’s a relief. I just want to say to anyone else out there who has loved ones or if you yourself are afflicted with the virus, my prayers go out to you because a lot of people are suffering other than my parents right now.”
Last week, Hanks revealed that he and his wife had caught the coronavirus but that they were doing well. At one point, Chet became enraged after a Twitter user posted that she wished that he had contracted the virus instead of his father.
It’s great to hear that they are doing well.
