Harvey Weinstein’s Attorney Slams 23 Year Sentence: ‘That Number Was Obnoxious!!’

One of Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer had plenty to say about the Hollywood exec’s sentence of 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault.

“That sentence that was just handed down by this court was obscene,” lawyer Donna Rotunno told reporters outside Manhattan Supreme Court according to CNBC.

“That number did not speak to the evidence that came out at trial. That number did not speak to the testimony that we heard,” she said. “That number did not speak to evidence, not did it speak to justice.”
