During a recent interview, “Truth Hurts” singer Lizzo has revealed that she is open to having children — despite spending many years believing that she would never be a mother.
“It’s different now,” she explained. “Like my relationship with my family, I’m working on that. I open myself up to friendships. I open myself up to the idea of children, which is big for me, because my albums are my babies.”
Lizzo also said that at one point of her life, she believed she’d only have two friends.
She continued, “As f*cked up as it sounds, I needed that heartbreak experience,” Lizzo said. “I’m not sad, because I use the pain so constructively. The pain is human experience.”
It seems that Lizzo is focused on the future.
Last week, the star went viral after she slammed TikTok for removing her swimsuit videos. The platform reinstated her videos after receiving backlash. TikTok apologized and said that they “love” the singer.
