Rapper DaBaby has apologized after a video surfaced online over the weekend of him slapping a woman.
In the video, the woman is seen holding her phone with the flash on, very close to his face, before he instinctively punches her before walking on.
“I do sincerely apologize. I do, I’m very sorry that there was a female on the other end of that flashlight on that phone,” he said in the video shared to his social media. “Keep in mind, I couldn’t see you because you had the flash this close to me … it’s no problem.”
The “Suge” rapper adds that “it’s a well-known fact, male or female, I would have responded the same exact way, before continuing, “I wish you would have gave me the same respect in return. You did not give me the same respect in return baby. All you had to do was zoom in. zoom in. that easy .. c’mon baby. Why you do that.”
