Plus-sized pop singer Lizzo is unhappy with social media platform TikTok – because they keep removing her videos of her in her skimpy swimsuits.
“TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits,” the clip reads. “But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits. I wonder why? Tiktok… we need to talk,” says Lizzo.
Lizzo has suffered heavy criticism from fat shamers who take issue whenever she strips down to he thong and swimsuits — but if other TikTok users are allowed to post themselves on the site in their swimming gear, should Lizzo not also have that right?
“I’m really cool, I love myself,” Lizzo said on Australian show, The Project back in December. “I get a kick out of it, man. It’s a beautiful thing to watch like wasn’t that amazing?”
“I love the fact that kids love me because I’m making music to make us better, to make us smile, to make you love yourself and I think that children need that more than anything so that they can teach the next generation how to love themselves,” Lizzo said. “Love your body.”
