Boogie Dash, the son of Dame Dash, has revealed that he is opening a Sober Living home.
Boogie announced the news via his Instagram page:
“So this was a proud moment for me. I finally got a chance to take my lil sister to my first house that I ever bought! Not only is it my first house, it’s my business. A sober living. I’m out here trying to save the world an be a great big brother one day at a time,” he captioned the post.
As viewers of Growing Up Hip Hop will know, Bogie has suffered from addiction on and off over the years. He and his father have repeatedly clashed on the show over his drug use, with Master P even weighing in to try and get him to get clean.
“I don’t care how you think or how you like it … you might end up dead, and that’s what your dad’s trying to protect,” Master P told him on the show back in 2018. “If one of my kids get out of the way and do that, I’m in that sh*t. I ain’t givin’ them a chance. That’s how much I love them — I know that’s how much that man loves you.”
Dame Dash recently filed a lawsuit against WEtv for constantly having his son around alcohol and addiction he has also struggled with.
