Travel time! I feel like over the past few years I have been on planes more often than I would like to admit. Today I am breaking down some of my favorite items to travel in – or with! THE TOTE // A great tote for holding all odds and ends (computer! beauty! snacks!) is 100% necessary for any flight. This tote has been my travel companion for the last few months, and I have to say, it is one of the best travel totes around. Lightweight, lots of room, great interior functionality, and even features a zip top! The brand just came out with a smaller size here that also telescopes over luggage handles – I might just have to pick that one up too!
THE COMFY FLAT // While traveling I tend to stick to a flat or flatform shoe for ease and comfort without sacrificing style. Some of my favorite travel shoes include these sneakers, these sneakers, this flat, and the classic Chanel flat (I buy all mine discounted here).
THE TRAVEL SCARF // I can’t live without a great cashmere travel wrap. It doubles as a blanket, even in the summers when I still find myself FREEZING during flights! This one from my collection is still available and is currently on sale! This one, this one and this one are also amazing (I have the bright pink solid) but are a bit more expensive. That being said, they should last for years to come!
THE WATER BOTTLE // San Francisco was the first airport to ban single use plastic bottles and more airports will be following suit. I now always carry a reusable water bottle in flight and I have found this one to be my favorite (along with 2,000 other people!).
THE KNIT DRESS // I typically travel in denim and a sweater/blazer, or a knit dress layered with a chic piece of outerwear. I own both this one and this one and they are perfection for travel. The length, the fit, and the ruching detail, make them flattering and comfortable even on 6+ hour plane rides.
