A New York City man walked into a police station in the Bronx, and shot a New York police lieutenant – and it was caught on camera.
Luckily the officer was shot in the arm. But this was the second police-involved shooting in New York’s Bronx borough in just 12 hours.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning, and was captured on camera and in surveillance footage. The suspect can be seen in the video walking into the 41st precinct in the Bronx. He was holding a gun as he approached, and shot the lieutenant at the front desk.
Police inside the station responded quickly – and began firing back at the gunman. In seconds, the male – who was wearing blue jeans, an orange and black jacket and beanie hat – was on the ground.
The suspect may have also shot another police officer. Police believe that the same man shot a cop on Saturday night.
