Good news for Fetty Wap, a judge has agreed to dismiss charges against him stemming from a fight last year at a Las Vegas hotel – but only if he can keep his nose clean.
According to Fox 11, an attorney for Fetty entered into the agreement with prosecutors Monday to toss the misdemeanor battery charges in July, court records show. Fetty was not in court to hear the judge’s decision.
Fetty was accused last September of striking a security officer who arrived to break up a fight at a valet area of The Mirage resort on the Las Vegas Strip days after his performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in Newark, New Jersey.
This is not the “Trap Queen” rapper’s first brush with the law. He was arrested in November 2017 and charged with DUI after police say he was caught drag racing another car on a New York City highway.
