A friend once asked me if I could only pick my handphone or wallet to leave the house with, which I would pick. “My handphone,” I replied without batting an eyelid. Gadgets are as much a part of our being as, you could say, the clothes that we wear. Without either, most of us mere mortals would feel basically naked.

It’s a sad reality how much of our lives are tied to black mirrors i.e. your iPhone, iPad, laptop screens. Do you even remember how to function without Siri? How many times have you launched into panic mode because you couldn’t find your AirPods? Have you had a near cardiac arrest when your MacBook screen refused to switch on? At this point, we are all slaves to our devices. And we part with good money for it.

Most of us act like our lives depend on our gadgets, which, to be honest, it kind of does. But not all of us are the best at taking care of these fragile, costly belongings. Some of us might just be cursed with bad luck and a lifetime of cracked phone screens and the rest, just plain careless. Whichever side of humanity you belong to, we all have reasons enough to protect our gadgets with our dear lives.

All it takes are cases! Simple enough? The challenge, however, is finding ones that aren’t plain ‘ol boring. If you were going to put a cover on it, it might as well double up as an accessory.
