Three Cast Members Of Bravo’s Married To Medicine Are FIRED!!

The seventh season of Bravo’s Married To Medicine is officially over – and the network has decided to DRAMATICALLY change the cast.

MTO News spoke with a Bravo executive who confirmed that not one, not two, but THREE members of the cast will NOT be returning next season.

The first person to get fired is Dr Contessa Metcalf. According to our insider, the network did not like her storyline. The insider explained to MTO News, ‘Dr Contessa’s storyline was a little forced. It didn’t seem natural.”

The next cast member to be getting the axe is Dr Jackie Walters. The Bravo exec told MTO News, “We need some fresh blood in the cast. Dr Jackie has been saying the same lines for the last three seasons.”

And the next to go is the newest cast member, Buffie Purselle. According to our insider at Bravo – she never quite fit in on the show.

The Bravo hit show ‘Married to Medicine’ started off with six primary cast members – Dr. Jackie Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Toya Bush-Harris, Kari Wells, Quad Webb-Lunceford, and Mariah Huq.

However, the end of Season 1 saw the departure of Kari Wells (although she later returned in guest appearances), and Season 2 saw the introduction of Dr. Heavenly Kimes, who has since then been part of the main cast. Lisa Nicole Cloud was also introduced in Season 2, and stayed with the show till the end of Season 4. In Season 5, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe was introduced as a main cast member.

The show also has recurring members in the show include Dr. Jackie’s husband, Curtis Berry; Dr. Simone’s husband, Cecil Whitmore; Toya’s husband Dr. Eugene Harris; Quad’s husband Dr. Gregory Lunceford; Mariah’s husband Dr. Aydin Huq; and Dr. Heavenly’s husband, Dr. Damon Kimes. Dr. Contessa’s husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, was introduced in Season 5.
