A disturbing video has gone viral. The video was released on Facebook on Saturday and has since been seen by 10 million people across social media.
The video was taken outside of Charlotte, North Carolina – and it shows a young woman inside a car with a man. The young lady is confronted by a group of women in the neighborhood – who suspect that she’s engaging in some sort of solicitation or prostitution.
What’s troubling about the video, is that the young lady appears to be a child.
The woman – worried for her safety – asked the young alleged prostitute for her id, to prove her age. But the girl who they believed was a sex worker was not carrying any identification.
She then ran off, before any of the women could offer her help.
