Happy New Year’s everyone. How were your holidays? For me, 2020 is the year that I’ve begun to dodge hangovers at all costs. It’s officially a sign of aging, they say. Over the holidays I visited the newly opened Le Coucou Hotel in the French Alps. The winter resort is situated on the slopes in Meribel, where the best amenity is the ski-in and ski-out service that is executed with style and ease. Beyond the prime real estate are the interiors; all the rooms are designed by Pierre Yovanovitch, a French architect who expresses his mastery of layering textures with pops of color and quirk.
