DaBaby Speaks Out Following Miami Arrest: ‘Don’t Allow Yourself To Be Used By Janky Promoters!!’

DaBaby addressed his recent brief stint in jail by way of his Instagram page, and the rapper does not want to talk about the incident anymore.

“Please stop talking to me about that weak ass 48 hours I spent in jail and that failed attempt to break my spirits & interrupt the path,” he wrote.

“Don’t allow yourself to be used by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win. I encourage you all to kick back and relax and prepare yourselves for this new wave of music and entertainment I have prepared for you all,” he concluded the posts.

DaBaby was arrested in connection to a robbery that took place after a show with the alleged victim being a concert promoter. A source told TMZ at the time that promoter met up with DaBaby and his crew to pay for a gig, and the rapper believed the promoter shorted him by several thousand dollars. As one source put it, “Things just went out of control.”
