Pop singer Lizzo has just quit Twitter. The BBW singer claims that she is leaving the social networking platform because there are “too many trolls.”
Lizzo’s Twitter mentions have recently been filled with haters, trying to shame the singer for her large body – which Lizzo is obviously very proud of.

Lizzo had been posting pictures showing her New Years Eve celebration in Las Vegas, and she looked really cute in the pics:
But thousands of people flooded Lizzo’s mentions with fat jokes, designed to tear down her self esteem.
Lizzo decided that for the preservation of her mental health, she’s going to be taking a break from Twitter.
Lizzo has opened up about her battles with depression before. On June 21, Lizzo posted a text video saying: “I’m depressed and there’s no one I can talk to because there’s nothing anyone can do about it. Life hurts.”
She added that sometimes “everything feels like rejection,” noting that she was feeling “sad af” today. “But this too shall pass. S/O all the messages of love. Thank you.”
