Rapper YG was in a reflective mood on New Year’s Day and hopped onto Twitter to apologize to the LGBTQ community for some of his past views.
“It’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant. I apologize to the LGBTQ kommunity for ever komin across like i was anything but respectful and accepting. Live. Love. Ya Life. Gang,” he tweeted.
Upon first glance, some received the apology with open arms, but some others were more skeptical about the rapper’s apology. YG is reportedly trying hard to win his ex-girlfriend Kehlani’s affections back. Kehlani is a part of the LGBTQ community and has publicly proclaimed herself to be single after he allegedly cheated on her after just a few months of being together.
Either way, it’s a great way to start off the new year. We don’t know whether or not his apology has made any difference to his status with Kehlani, though…
