The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett were both facing assault and battery charges from the State of Maryland.
But MTO News has learned that prosecutors have dropped the charges against both reality stars.
Monique and Candiace each filed a complaint against the other back in November, after the two were involved in a violent confrontation on October 16. They both accused each other with second-degree assault
“It is confirmed that the State’s Attorney’s Office will not go forward with either charge against either party,” Public Affairs Director Ramon V. Korionoff told the media.
The Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office informed lawyers on Friday (December 27) for both women that they would not be pursuing the cross complaints after reviewing evidence and conducting interviews in connection with the cases.
“Charges have been dismissed by the Office of the State’s Attorney for Montgomery County, Maryland,” Korionoff also confirmed to the media.
