Actress Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri Cruise, 13, is growing up before our eyes!
On Thursday, Katie shared a rare black-and-white selfie with Suri on Instagram.
It is unknown where Katie and Suri are spending the holidays, but from her Instagram Story, it looks like she escaped New York City for a snowy retreat.
Holmes has been in a festive mood, posting two Instagrams on Christmas. In one, she is covering her eyes with a Santa hat.
In 2017, Katie dished on her holiday traditions with Suri. She told “Extra” at the Old Navy and Pop Sugar’s Deck the Hauls Event, “This time of year, I really like going ice skating with my family and drinking hot chocolate… making, like, candy pretzels — things like that.”
While Katie doesn’t post much about Suri on social media, she did open up about their bond in the December issue of Elle UK. She shared, “I was happy to become a mom in my 20s. It’s been nice that our ages fit…how do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together.”
In the November issue of Shape, Katie dished, “I feel very blessed to have such a special daughter. Being her mom is absolutely the greatest gift and privilege… Sometimes I work out with my daughter. It just depends on the day. We have our routines and occasionally they overlap. But I don’t force her to work out with me because I know that’s lame.”
