Karol Sanchez, the Bronx teen who went missing after being kidnapped, has reportedly admitted to staging it all.
Sanchez, 16, was walking down a quiet street on Monday night with her mother when allegedly two men appeared and dragged the teenager into a vehicle while pushing her mother to the ground. Sanchez says the kidnap was all because of her rocky relationship with her mother.
A reward of $2,500 was offered for information, and an Amber Alert was issued.
No charges have been filed at this time, but the cops are looking for four male accomplices.
She then turned herself into the cops on Tuesday.
A witness recounted Sanchez’s mother’s reaction to her daughter being “kidnapped” before her eyes.
“She was just screaming, ‘My daughter, my daughter, my God, someone please help me.’ She was screaming hysterically. And I was looking, wondering what was going on. She was just screaming in the street,” one witness told CBS2.
