Los Angeles entertainment mogul Wack100 has been making news lately, after making disparaging comments about the legacy of deceased rapper Nipsey Hussle.
Yesterday, Wack100 paid for his comments – by getting punched repeatedly in the face, by Nipsey’s friend and longtime bodyguard Jroc.
The two men were at an event in Los Angeles, and Jroc allegedly pressed Wack100 about his comments. When Wack tried to backpedal, Jroc reportedly knocked Wack unconscious. When Wack awoke, he was angry and ready to fight.
Here’s the video, showing the aftermath of Wack 100 getting knocked out. In the video, you can clearly Hera Wack say, ‘He knocked me out . . . now we have to get down [fight].”
Here’s Wack’s response to getting smacked:
So what exactly did Wack say, that got him slapped?
On the November 22nd episode Adam22’s No Jumper podcast, Wack stated that Nipsey didn’t die an “A-list” artist and that fans were showing “fake love” because he passed away. He did not think Nip was a legend.
“He wasn’t. What’s a legend? Define a legend,” Wack said. “If Dr. Dre, right now, died, we would say we lost a legend, right? Based on what? Numbers, right? Body of work, right? How many albums did Nipsey drop? One album, right? This not no personal shit I’m talking, right? This just real shit. The man died with a million followers, no radio hits, no platinum hits, right? No world tours, right? After he died, he went platinum, sold a bunch of records, his followers went up nine, 10 million, right? First of all, we got to define what the fuck a legend is, what the fuck a legend ain’t.”
