Rapper Kodak Black is not doing well behind bars. The rapper is claiming that he was drugged by prison guards – and now he’s losing his mind.
Last month, Kodak was involved in a jailhouse brawl with another inmate and a prison guard. As a result of the brawl, the guard was sent to the hospital – and Kodak now faces even more prison time.
Kodak explained what happened, in a new Instagram post. Kodak claims that the guards drugged him, with an “unknown substance . . . that gave [him] an out of body experience and had [him] feeling possessed and dying slowly.”
While still under the influence of the drug, Kodak claims he got into the inmate fight.
Kodak also claims that all the CO’s injuries are CAP. Kodak claims that the officer is faking injuries so that he can later sue the rapper.
Kodak explained, “the officer [jumped in] to inflict harm on himself and capitalize on my status as a local celebrity.” Kodak continues, “Officers [told] me he was alright that night . . . and [he’s] bragging that he will get a quarter million from me.”
Here’s what he has to say:
Kodak Black was sentenced in November to 46 months in prison on federal weapons charges, though he faced up to 10 years. Prosecutors in Miami had asked for a sentence of 46 to 57 months, while Black’s lawyers had requested less, pointing to his guilty plea in August and his history of charitable work.
Black, 22, whose legal name is Bill Kapri (though he was born Dieuson Octave), had admitted to lying on background check forms while buying multiple firearms in two different incidents earlier this year. Prosecutors said two of the guns were later found by the police at crime scenes, including one — with Black’s fingerprints and a live round in the chamber — that had been used to fire at a “rival rap artist.” Black has not been charged in the shooting.
