Meghan King Edmonds admits she is trying to stay healthy amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Jim Edmonds.
The former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star posted a picture with daughter Aspen, 3, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, one, to Instagram on Friday, when a fan took to the comments section to voice concern over Meghan’s appearance.
“You look very skinny. I know you have a lot on your plate. And I can only imagine how hard it is to juggle it all,” the post read. “Take care of yourself momma, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Sending you love.”
The 35-year-old responded to the worried fan by writing, “I’m too thin. I’m a stress non-eater. I’m working on it.”
This isn’t the first time Meghan has responded to comments about her body, as she clapped back at critics in an Instagram post in 2015.
“I eat effing burgers you haters and I eat double cheeseburgers too. The whole dang thing. And it’s sooooo good! And I still look like this,” she wrote at the time, captioning a photo of her dining out. “I was born with skinny genes like my siblings @caitking7 @julie_king8 @rjking3 (do recon) and they eat like me (but I have to watch it more since my metabolism has slowed a bit).”
Meanwhile, Meghan and Jim settled on a 50/50 joint custody of their three children back on November 27, after a lengthy series of public slams against each other, which began after Jim — who filed for divorce in October — allegedly cheated on Meghan with their 22-year-old nanny.
Jim and the nanny both denied the claim, while Meghan clarified her thoughts on the alleged affair in a blog post titled “Broken” in October.
“To be clear, I don’t know if Jim slept with our babysitter or whether they were just being exceedingly inappropriate by hanging out socially without either of them telling me (and Jim expressly lying to me about it),” she wrote at the time.
“I’ve gone back and forth with my thoughts for a couple days but as I write this, I don’t think he did. But I still don’t understand why he’d lie.”
The estranged couple spent their first Thanksgiving apart last month.
Meghan celebrated with their three children at home, while Jim spent the day with his children from previous marriages — Hayley, 22, Landon, 13, and Sutton, 10.
