If fans of Colin Kaepernick were hoping to see him return to the NFL, that won’t be happening any time soon, according to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“On Colin Kaepernick and what went into the FA workout, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, ‘It was about opportunity, a credible opportunity. … He chose not to take it, and I understand that'”NFL National Insider Ian Rapaport tweeted. “The league has moved on.”
Kaepernick shunned the NFL’s scheduled workout and rerouted it to out the Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia.
“I’ve been ready for three years,” Kaepernick said after completing his workout on Nov. 16. “I’ve been denied for three years. We all know why I came out here. [I] showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. So we’re waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running. Stop running from the truth. Stop running from the people.”
