Kim Kardashian’s former longtime assistant, Stephanie Shepherd, attended a private movie screening for Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh website on Monday night — and one fan who saw a snippet of her reunion with Kim felt the whole thing was “really awkward.”
Shepherd, however, did not appreciate the remark and clapped back in all caps.
“OMG SO AWKWARD. LETS PASS MORE JUDGEMENT ON PEOPLE AND RELATIONSHIPS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. TELL ME MORE!” she wrote in a since-deleted reply to the critic.
The reunion was documented via a selfie-style video on Kim’s Instagram Story.
“I am here with my best friend, Steph Shep. We are reunited, guys, to watch a movie with the Poosh team,” Kardashian said as Shepherd smiled beside her and added, “Yay. That’s all we got.”
Kardashian and Shepherd parted ways professionally in 2017 after working together since 2013. At the time, it was reported that Stephanie wanted to transition into a bigger role in Kim’s brand and business but that the transition didn’t end up working out, so Kim let her go.
After rumors began swirling that the two ended on a bad note, Kim told her fans they “never had a feud” and said she respected Stephanie’s decision “to go in a different direction.” She added, “I’m so happy she wants to go off and do other things.”
Shepherd has since been working on Kourtney’s lifestyle blog as a contributor.
