NeNe Leakes is not happy with Andy Cohen after what she saw go down on Sunday night’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
The OG of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was a topic at various points during the evening because her co-star and former friend, Eva Marcille, was one of Andy’s guests. But after he shined a light on the fact NeNe wore one of this season’s confessional looks to a previous Bravo event, she put him on blast on Instagram.
“By the way, one of NeNe’s confessional looks this year is the same dress she wore to our big doorbell show in L.A. where the strap broke, so I guess she fixed her strap, which we love,” he said. “We just love our eagle-eyed researchers here!”
As the audience erupted in cheers and gasps, Eva could barely contain her shock and excitement. As the wide-eyed reality star cackled into her hands, Andy asked, “Why? Was that shady?” She couldn’t even speak words. “I didn’t mean for that to be shady!” he maintained.
Eva finally managed to reply, “You’re just like me. I don’t mean to [be shady], but sometimes, it comes out shady.”
Intention aside, the comment was not well-received by Leakes.
“Can somebody please tell me what was the point of this? Like i don’t get it,” NeNe captioned a clip of the remark. “That was 2 years ago i wore this dress ONCE, so i can’t sit in a confessional with it on @bravoandy How many times have you recycled your suits and ties? #pointless #messy why you care?”
“It’s enough that we #RHOA ladies come for each other and now we have to worry about executives coming for us! No i mean coming for me!” she added. “It’s not cool. Wasn’t you interviewing those girls? What you mad about? Y’all stay coming for me but soon as i say something or do something I’m wrong🤷🏽♀️ I DONT APPRECIATE THIS AT ALL.”
So far, Andy hasn’t responded — but Patti Stanger had NeNe’s back, writing, “If #Kate middleton can do it so can you! Wearing things once is just waste.”
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
