TMZ reports that 21-year-old rapper and singer Juice Wrld is dead.
The artist died after suffering a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport after deplaning. Reports suggest that he was walking through the facility when he was stricken, and that he bled from the mouth.
Juice aka Jarad Anthony Higgins was conscious while being rushed to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. No cause has been given.
Just since last year, Juice had a dozen singles that charted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, including “Lucid Dreams” (#2 in 2018), “Fine China” (duet with Future, #26 in 2018), and “Robbery” (#27 in 2019). “Bandit,” his single with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, hit #10 just weeks before his untimely death.
Juice’s two-track EP “Too Soon” was a tribute to Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, both of whom also died young.
